“Severus, you’re never affectionate in public.” Harry suddenly burst out. What kind of idiotic statement is that?

“I have a reputation to hold up, or don’t you understand?” I said while looking through a barrel of asphodel at the apothecary.

“You know I never asked for fame.” He pouted.

“But you got it.” Harry looked up in frustration. He suddenly brought his head in and pressed his lips to mine.

“Mmph! Mmffmm.” I pushed him away.

“Mmmmm. Severus.” He pleaded.

“What was that all about?”

“Mistletoe.” He pointed and I looked up.

“That’s not Mistletoe. It’s Devil’s Snare.”

“Same difference.”

Thank you, Nin! I tend to use Snape's perspective rather than Harry's for this pairing. I think I relate more to the greasy old bat
