Posting without officially logging in so I'm sure my avatar and siggy won't show.

Apparently,I don't know how to spell. You're right, Lavender; all this time I'd been spelling it wrong--not even a typo!! sheesh! Sometimes my dumb moments astound me! Heh. I'll fix it when I get home from work.

Pads, PStar (sorry, I'm a sucker for silent "P"s; it's the little things in life...) thanks for the loading update; I'll probably end up splitting some of the table on to separate pages then. I added the book table back in and moved it up to the top of the list; it just made sense to put it in before the characters, etc. Who knows? By the time we're through with this project, each table might have it's own dedicated page.

I also think you're right about Thestrals, we should probably add unicorn to the list. Giants and goblins should go under 'people' terms, no? Anyway, please everyone, feel free to suggest more additions. The creatures and plants lists are pretty thin; the classes one is done (I went to the Lexicon to make sure I wasn't forgetting any). And who knows, Kip, a lot of people suspect Blaise Zabini is going to play a bigger role in HBP so he may get on one of the characters lists after all (he could see the thestrals in OotP; who knows what's in store?). I have a feeling we'll be adding to this tables through book seven, but if we could get books 1-5 taken care of before book 6 comes out, I'd call us champions indeed, not that we aren't already! Wink

Oh, and I think that Madam Pudifoot's name is spelled with only one 'd' in the books, not with two as it's featured in the list.

Here's a random thing: In my copy of PS (in Latin) The Sorting Hat chapter, the student who gets Sorted before Ron is 'Lisa Turpin'... yet everyone in chat told me Dean is sorted immediately before Ron. I don't know if this is the right thread, but I was distinctly puzzled. Why make this seemingly pointless change? It's not like Dean isn't mentioned... What do everyone's international editions say? Come to it, I don't have my British one here either. What do any editions except Latin say?
