Hello -- I'd like to become a member of the Sirius Black fanclub. I've really enjoyed looking over the site -- good to see so many people of discerning taste!

Why do I like Sirius? Simply because he's one of the most interesting characters in the canon. What's the secret behind the Shrieking Shack? Was he really willing to kill Snape to protect Remus? What about him made his friends willing to believe that he'd betray James and Lily to Voldemort and kill innocent Muggles in the street? How will his time in Azkaban affect his future actions?

Sirius is dangerous and reckless, as well as brave and loyal -- he's a dog in Animagus form for a reason. He's extremely talented, powerful, and will have a large role to play in the coming fight against Voldemort. There is so much to learn about this most colorful Marauder. And, besides, how can a guy who makes a motorcycle fly be bad?

I don't have a Sirius Web page, but I'm the "token" Sirius lover on La Soci�t� des Femmes Dangereuses which hosts my first Sirius fic here, entitled "Faith." I'm working on a new story now that forces Sirius and Snape to work together on a mission, plus a short romance between Sirius and Minerva McGonagall when Sirius was at Hogwarts (he had to learn to be an Animagus somewhere.)

Therefore, I respectfully submit my application to the fan club. Thanks.

You have my vote! That was a great application, your response was well thought out, you have great grammar, and you wrote a Sirius fic that is hosted on a great site.

Let's wait for the prez and the welcome wagon if she decides to send it.

And mine as well. Fantastic work with the application, Crow. I'd be more than willing to have you in our fan club, as your reasons show both an admiration for his many talents, and a rather optimistic view on what is in store for our most beloved character. I hope to see you around on the boards, and good luck meeting with the other members.

If It jams, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.
