Lucius and Draco also have grey eyes but JKR describes them as being "cold". We know both of them are fine, so I guess the handsome thing continues...Eyes have always intrigued me, so hearing different takes on eye color is really cool.

Throughout the book also, certain spells are associated with certain colours. Green for the Adava Kedavra spell, red for a Disarming spell, and I could be mistaken, but was it yellow for a sheild charm? Perhaps there is some kind of meaning in there as well, and for some reason it reminds me of traffic lights. Green = go, Red = stop, Yellow = wait/slow down. So in relation to the killing spell, the green represents the fact that the person is "gone", dead, has left spiritually. The Red represents the physical stopping of a person due to the disarming spell, and the yellow represents the momentary pausing of a person due to the sheilding.

I've never thought of it that way, Becka. That's really interesting....

The spell the Death Eater cast at Hermione in OotP was a purple flame. I've always wondered, Why purple for that?
