As usual the Dutch translator has come up with even more puns than JKR. I like gruzielement which is a combination of soul and shards, (like pieces of glass).

*blinks* wow RC :S cool job! Haven't found all those yet, (still not finished the Dutch HBP) but I did see a tiny few mistakes in the spelling, I think you meant 'bestemming' with the 3 'B's? And like I said, it is 'Hildebrand' Slakhoorn Maybe you could check the list once to find other tiny thingies? If you've got time of course I'll try and see what I can do too.

P.S. I don't like gruzielementen I do like the fact that it's based on 'gruzelementen' and 'ziel' but that is not what it was in English... *le sigh* Ah well, it could have been far worse I suppose

I haven't been able to get hold of a German copy of HBP so far, and I wouldn't have had time to do much digging anyway. *sighs* I'll probably have more time in the Christmas holidays.

Hey, I just got the German version of HBP and I was wondering if there is any need for me . Im in German V so I'm not that great, but I am doing pretty well at reading it...theres just a few (many) verbs I don't know. But at least I never (always) use a dictionary!

All help is welcome, MadEye. Paddy has been working on our German translations, but I don't know if she's gotten her German copy of HBP yet. Maybe the two of you could PM each other and work the German side out?

That reminds me, do we have copies of HBP in all our languages yet? We need to get started on the HBP side of translations still.

You guys have done a tremendous job on the translations, and I am happy to see that you guys are getting on HBP now. And not to burst your welcome bubble, Paddy, but it's not official until Pen adds you to the group!
