No worries, expecto_patronum; we haven't forgotten Italian. I just haven't had time to update the tables in a while. Thank you very much for your Italian contributions; they'll compliment the other Italian contributions we've had. Keep them coming! Very Happy

Many young French children are learning English by reading the Harry Potter series in the original version (after having read them in French). To help them understand the most complex terms, especially the ones invented by JK Rowling, someone has come up with a English to French Potter dictionary. It includes the definition of more than 3600 terms ; there is also an index at the end, where the terms are classified in the usual Potter divisions (Beasts, Herbology, places...).

Ok, before I was kicked off last week, I tried to post this message: Sorry expecto_patronum, I think you went wrong here, I think the correct translation is
Goyle=Goyle
Crabbe=Tiger,

Even if I didn't read the whole saga in Italian, I was quite ashamed when the Death Eaters in the GoF movie were called "Crabbe" and "Goyle" instead of "Tiger" and "Goyle" Rolling Eyes : that was a big fault.
And frankly I don't like the Italian translation very much: as far as I read PS and PoA, I found a lot of mistakes and basic misunderstandings, and they (the translators) have gone a little too far in searching for an actual word-by word correspondance with all the names, sometimes they really sound ridicolous to me.

I've noticed a mistake in the Dutch book title of HP and the Order of the Phoenix:
It's "Harry Potter en de Orde van de Feniks" and not "Harry Potter en de Orde van de Fenix".

Much thanks! I don't know when I'll get around to fixing the files, but I'll add that in when I get to it. I'm supposed to have updated files around here somewhere that Miru tackled too. Once my dissertation is drafted, I'll get to the Thesaurus again--just a couple more months!
