answer:Timed test are just a way of annoying those who like to take their time and actually do well on their tests. They also make great party favors!

Answer: Because it makes a better plot line than people who don't know each other falling in love. Its just the way stories go. They always fall in love, just sometimes the one that they fall in love with dies. It is an annoying fact that almost all authors are hopeless romantics, and that's why they are authors. Why they dont come out hating each other I don't know...
