'Tis so sad. I have to leave tomorrow. My dad forces me out of the door at 7 am. Poor, poor me.

But the worst part is that we're going to Jutland (another part of Denmark) to visit my uncle Willy. The last time we were at his farm, I got chased by a pack of geese. NOT FUNNY! I've been afraid of big birds ever since.

Anyway, I'll be back next Saturday... I hope.

AAhh! geese! geese and swans! when I first moved to WI from Chicago, I went to the Milwaukee zoo, and walked close to a swan (yeah, I know- a swan, those supposedly &quot;graceful&quot; creatures)- and it bit me on the kneecap! My entire knee was dark purple (and all around)for a really long time. Thise things are nasty- I won't go near them anymore.

ok, a little off subject, but oh well.

By the way: I didn't get eaten by Willy's geese. On the other hand, the house we rented was extremely close to a junkyard, so we were invaded by flies. I swear, if we didn't get home two days earlier, I would have gone mad. All that friggin' buzzing!!!

But other than that, it was fine. I got really, really close to a real life bat. What amazing critters they are.

SO glad to be back, hols were lovely but I got withdrawal symptoms from lack of internet. Am now feverishly scurrying about trying to catch up on all the new posts... Ahhhh, the relief! LOVING the new look by the way, so blissfully easy to navigate. You clever techno-wizards, you.;)

Well, I will be leaving tomorrow for camp. (I'm a counselor, though - power position! There's the Slytherin in me.) I'll be back at the end of the week. Don't miss me too much!

I'll be gone from July 27th to, umm, somewhere around the 18th of August, I think. I'm from Canada and I'm going to British Columbia for half a month.



And I agree, Geese are scary, but not as scary as Swans with babies, they are psychotic! I've been attacked at the Calgary Zoo before. Of course, the geese here try to steal your sandwich when you're a little kid...
