Theo, you can always order it from another country (the UK, for example) and have it shipped to Romania. You can use Amazon.co.uk or even the Bloomsbury site : they might be able to send it abroad.

However, I expect the Romanian translation will take time to be completed. I know for example, that the French version of the books came out 6 months after the French version. With OotP, for example, the book came out in June 2003 and the French translation came out in early December. The French publisher, Gallimard Jeunesse, have not even acknowledged the date for the publication of the English HBP yet.

I'm incredibly good at coming up with fantabolous ideas when I have something better do to. Like the essay on philosophy I'm working on right now. It's to be handed in in three hours. I'll Skype you once it's done! (May not be in exactly three hours...)

Edit: Griffin, I'm sure it will be released that day in other countries as well. Almost sure it was released here the very same night last time. So I guess it's all a question about timezones... =)

^It's because those are the places where Bloomsbury has branches I think, Theo. You'll get them not long after though. Plus, there's always pre-ordering on the internet, right?

Belgium's not on that list either, but I'll get mine on the release date somehow, even if it takes flying all way to London hah.

I'm used to waiting inordinate amounts of time for things by now: 3 years was it? for OOTP, 12 months each for FOTR and TT, and their respective extended editions, 12 more months for ROTK, 11.5 months for eeROTK, 3 painstaking days knowing eeROTK was out but I couldn't watch it, 5 months for the release of Garden State, 2 months for Finding Neverland, 4 months for my class ring, 3 years for a trip to Argentina, 12 years to go to college, 6 years for a permanent residency, 9 months to come out of the womb...

And so on and so forth.

YAY!!! After finals yesterday, I thought my brain was ready to melt...Then I check my e-mail this morning, and what do I see? A notice from Barnes and Noble that Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is ready for pre-order!

July 16th, huh? I can't wait! Just glad that it didn't take another four years for JKR to get this out.
