Yay. First time writer. Okay, not really, but I decided to dust out my head, get rid of some useless drabble and get some real stuff down - on paper. Keep in mind, I ain't much of a writer, so... One shot, pure fluff. Yuck.

"Hey Harry."
"Oh, hey gorgeous. Listen, I have to go practice some hexes now... you know how it is. I'll owl you as soon as I get back from the trip, kay?"
"Okay... But – but what if you don't get back?"
"I pro–"
"What if he vanquishes you and sends your remains home one of those stupid glass vials and I'll never see you again?"
"You'll alwa–"
"It's not fair, the stupid git can't take you away now, not when–"
"It's only for two days, babe, I swear I'll be back soo–Ooh, I'd love to see how Voldemort reacts to being called a 'stupid git...'"
"But I only just learned to use the fellytone–"
"Telephone, darling."
"–and if you're gone, I won't have anyone to practice to!"
"I'll call you while I'm there, okay?"
"*whimper* I love you so much."
"Draco, it's only 2 days. Ill live. I swear. Gryffindor honour. Okay?"
"...Okay. G'night, Harry."
"Night, Draco."

[pause]

"Why didn't you hang up?"
"Why didn't you?"
"Okay, okay, I'm hanging up now..."

[pause]

"Are you still there?"
"Sorry."
"I have to go, honey."
"Then you can hang up first."
"No, you hang up!"
"Please hang up first?"
"We'll hang up together."
"On three?"
"One... two... three."

[pause]

"Draco?"
"Hmm?"
"I love you too."

It's not bad but it's a bit out of character...I just can't see either of them being so fluffy, not really something I'd expect from two, sexy, but really hardcore characters. Then again, it was pretty nicely written so all I can say is watch the characterization (even if it IS fluff ^^) and keep up the good work!

It's very good if your a first time writer, but you need to write more. It doesn't really have a plot yet. Keep writing.
