Half Blood Prince Relase Moved to Summer 2009

HPANA has alerted us to a significant change in our autumn schedules...
Half Blood Prince release has been moved to July 17, 2009.

The push will not affect the release of the Deathly Hallows films. Bottom line is how much money can they pull out of the movie franchise before it is over.

Deathly Hallows: Twice the Fun, Twice the Wait?

The Los Angeles Times just broke the long-rumored news that "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" will be split into two films, directed by David Yates (from a script by Steve Kloves).
Part 1 is set for a November 2010 release while Part 2 is set for a May 2011 release. What do you guys think? Dream come true or a sure-fire nightmare?

Identity of Character too Important to Leave Out of OotP Movie

TLC is reporting information that MTv found out about a character that was too important to leave out of the upcoming Order of the Phoenix film. After checking out the script for the film, JK Rowling told director Yates:
